Quality Assurance and Control
Currently, our quality control team consists of
department managers who oversee that manufacturing and quality
standards are met from the time an order is placed until your
product arrives to you. Our quality control manager and staff are
located and reside in Hong Kong and China. Daily communication is a
key part of the process so that all areas of production are
completed in an efficient and timely manner.
BSCI Compliance:
Other than achieving best quality, businesses should support and respect the protection of human rights,
social justice and environment[Code of Conducts]. We support the principle of the United Nations Global Compact[Ten Principles] with respect to
human rights, labour rights, the protection of the environment and ethical business practices.
We can give implementation and enforcement of the Code of Conduct to suppliers [Flowchart].
The improvement and social compliance will make suppiers well prepared to face existing and future
market demands and legal requirements.
Quality control
Laboratory: A hands on approach

Quality control for Taford Limited is essantial to
our reputation and sucess. Our quality control department utilizes a
three step process to ensure quality standards are met throughout
manufacturing. Initially, quality control begins by choosing top
quality material that has been carefully selected with your approval
before manufacturing occurs. We ensure such quality in several
important ways.
1.
Technical Laboratory

First, actual samples of the material to be
manufactured are sent to you. This allows a hands-on approach to
fabric selection and quality. Second, once a fabric and garment have
been selected for production we ensure that it meets your
specifications by sending the garment through our technical
laboratory. The laboratory is a vital part of the process in testing
for product quality. This is accomplished through the processes of
testing precise treatment to test fabric durability by weight and
personal inspection of different materials such as elastic, zipper
function, and knit quality etc.
We are skilled at testing for banned chemicals and ensuring a safe product.
For example, customers receive letters of confirmation with full details about: AZO dyes,
Heavy Metals, PCP/POFS, PHTatales, Disperse Dyes.
A declaration of conformity is provided demonstrating its security.
Further we are skilled at testing and providing a declaration of conformity
for all inspections completed by a 3rd party laboratory. Such tests are approved by
OEKO-TEX and REACH at a 100% standard including heavy metals.

Ensuring Manufacturer Quality

Once the garment has been through our technical
laboratory and inspected by our staff we ensure that workmanship by
the manufacturer provides first class production of your order. For
example, our quality control team personally checks for needle
trace, messy or broken stitching, loose or puckered sewing, and
ensures that manufacturers are precise in the measurements provided
for each piece of clothing.

Post Production: Final Inspection before shipment

Our QA/QC practices strictly adherence to quality control procedure and standard. We adopt 2.5 AQL standards throughout all departments. |
